International Cooperation
Aiming for excellence in education, the Foreign Languages Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University considers international cooperation as one of the key concepts of its functioning.
The main components of international cooperation are:
•broadening teaching and research experience of the academic staff in foreign educational institutions;
•join educational courses with partners abroad;
•participation in international conferences, forums, symposiums;
•membership in international associations, alliances, and committees;
•academic and student staff participation in international projects and programs;
•cooperation with international educational and scientific organizations in Ukraine and worldwide.
International cooperation is carried out within the terms of cooperation agreements with foreign educational and research institutions which include research collaboration, student and academic staff exchange, joint research projects, conferences, double diploma programs.
Academic staff and students participate in international conferences and forums abroad.
Our academics are members of international associations, alliances, and committees (Great Britain, the USA, Germany, France and others).
Academic staff and students enjoy access to a range of international experiences, including internships around the world, courses with study abroad components in foreign universities (Australia, France, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, the USA, and others).
Faculty members have won a number of research grants and participated in many international projects of such world-leading institutions as Fulbright, IREX, Erasmus Mundus, CEI, and others.
Native speakers from Great Britain, Germany, France, The USA and foreign lecturers are engaged in teaching process at the department.
