Student Life
Student years are unique and unforgettable. It is a period of new meetings, new hobbies and new beginnings. Thus extra-curricular activity is the main focus of Foreign Languages Department. It gives students wide possibilities for their self-development and self-expression. But first of all students use those possibilities which are given by the university. Some festivals and events held by the university have become a custom. Among them:
• Freshmen’s Dedication to the Students of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University
• City Day Celebration
• Song Contest
• Humoryna /Jokes Festival
• Teaching Skills Festival
• Miss University.
The following events are customarily held at Foreign Languages Department:
• First-year Students Presentation
• Department Day
• Remarkable Dates Celebrations (Teacher’s Day, Student’s Day, New Year’s Day, St. Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day etc.).
Interesting tours around the town and the country promote students’ aesthetic development.
