NEW GENERATION SCHOOL TEACHER PROJECT: NEW STEPS
The participants under the leadership of Victoria Ivanishcheva, who is responsible for the British Council PRESETT project, finalized their previous research findings and prepared the first draft of the Baseline study. The discussion of different problems of English as foreign language (EFL) teaching and EFL teachers’ training were of especial value for the participants.
The conference for the members of the joint project “New Generation School Teacher” initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine was held on the 7th-9th of November in Vyshgorod. Our university was represented by Oxana Zabolotna, coordinator of university international activity, Ph.D. (Pedagogy), professor; Alla Gembaruk, assistant dean of foreign languages department in socializing affairs, Ph.D. (Pedagogy), Associate Professor and Olena Bevz, assistant dean of foreign languages department in teaching practice, Ph.D. (pedagogy), Associate Professor.
